Policy.

At AnywhereWorks, we value your privacy. Below is our privacy statement, which contains information about what information we collect from you, what we do with it, who “we” are, and what steps you can take to manage your data. Of course, it’s impossible to cover every privacy-related topic that might come up, so if you have any questions or otherwise need to get in touch with our Data Protection Officer, please email privacy@anywhere.co.
Who’s collecting my information?
First of all, when we say “we,” “our,” “AnywhereWorks,” etc., we’re really talking about four entities in our family of companies:
- A-CTI FULL Inc. dba AnywhereWorks (Registry No. 038782-95) (“AW-US”), a company organized in the US State of Oregon
- AnywhereWorks Ltd. (Registration No. 09690353) (“AW-UK”), a company organized in the UK
- AnywhereWorks Canada, Inc. (Registration No. 1234350-9) (“AW-CA”), a company organized in the Canada
- FULL Creative Pvt. Ltd. (Registration No. U72200TN2007PTC065348) (“AW-IN”), a company organized in India
AW-US is our main operating entity; AW-UK handles our operations in the UK; and AW-IN provides various forms of technical and operational support to each of the other two entities. Together, those three companies make up the global AnywhereWorks team.
What information is being collected, how is it being collected, and how will it be used?
First, we collect the types of data that you input manually into our website and apps, including, for example, your name, your contact information, your payment information, and information related to the products and services you choose. We do so because we need that data to provide the products and services that we offer to you. For example, we need your name and contact information so we identify you when you log in, and so we can communicate with you about your account(s).
Additionally, we collect data from certain third party services that integrate with our website and apps. The only purpose for which we collect that data is to facilitate the integration between our website/app and the relevant third-party service. For example, if you’ve synched your Google account with one of our products, you may be able to access or modify various data in your Google account (e.g., contacts, emails, documents in your Google Drive, etc.) via our product; in order to allow you to do so, our product will need permission to access and modify the data in your Google account directly. The specific types of data we access or modify from third party services depends on the particular service and nature and purpose of the integration.
Finally, we collect data automatically via your use of our website and apps. We collect that data both because we need to do so in order to make our services available to you and because it helps us improve the products and services that we offer to all of our customers. The specific types of data we collect from your use of our website and apps depends on the particular website/app you’re using.
Who will my information be shared with?
We sometimes need to share your information with third party service providers in order to facilitate the products and services we offer. For example, we provide your payment information to our third-party payment processor to complete your payments, and we use a number of third-party software providers to manage and store information. In all cases, though, we provide that information solely in order to facilitate the products and services we offer to you and other customers; we don’t sell your information to anyone, and we don’t permit our third-party service providers to disclose or use it for any other purpose. Apart from those third-party service providers, and absent other exceptional circumstances, we don’t share your information outside of our family of companies.
How long will my data be stored?
We keep the data we collect for as long as you’re using our products or services. We generally retain certain data for a period following that time, which varies depending on
- which product(s) or service(s) you used
- the type of data at issue
- our ongoing business needs and applicable legal requirements.
However, in all cases, and at any time, you have the right to access, port, rectify any errors in, object to the processing of, or delete the data you provide to us. To make such a request, please send an email to privacy@anywhere.co
Other stuff
Our intent is to comply fully with the EU’s Regulation 2016/679, which is often known as the General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR.” You have a right to lodge a complaint on that subject with an appropriate supervisory authority. Generally, there will be two “legal bases” (for GDPR purposes) for our processing of your personal data. First, we do so to enter into and carry out our obligations in our contract with you. Second, to the extent such processing occurs following the termination of or outside the context of our contract with you, we do so for the purpose of our legitimate business interests.
We may transfer certain personal data from AW-UK to AW-US or AW-IN. To safeguard your personal information, each of those entities has agreed to EU- and UK-approved standard data protection clauses governing the transfer of that data. To obtain copies of those clauses, please email privacy@anywhere.co.
